The search process is based on forming in-depth and enduring relationships which enable us to develop a detailed understanding of the client organisations, their culture, priorities and challenges.
This is a high-touch approach, working in close partnership, thereby ensuring both a rigorous and effective process and a high degree of candidate care.
While each search is bespoke, the process can typically be broken down into the following stages;

Briefing
Establish search challenges & priorities
Through close consultation with the hiring manager and other client stakeholders we develop a comprehensive picture of the role, its scope, priorities and challenges. We will agree the qualities of the ideal candidate.

A detailed role specification will then be developed, covering the company, role, ideal core competencies, goals of the position, preferred experience, qualifications, responsibilities, and challenges for the position. This will be agreed and signed off by the client.

Search Strategy
Define strategy & undertake market mapping
Targeted research is undertaken into sectors and companies likely to house candidates with relevant qualifications, experience and skill-sets. This will be underpinned by canvassing views and opinions of trusted contacts within our networks.

From this a longlist of the best-qualified potential candidates will be produced for the clients to consider.

​Candidate Identification
Identify, attract & evaluate candidates
Potential candidates will be approached and their interest in the opportunity established. In-depth interviews will be conducted with interested candidates, assessing their motivation competencies and experience against the requirements outlined in the role specification. This will result in the development of a qualified shortlist of candidates.

Candidate Selection
Interview & assess suitability
The shortlist of the strongest candidates is presented to the client. Detailed reports on each shortlisted candidate will be provided. The report usually includes candidate CVs, assessment reports, interview reports, and a detailed analysis of fit related to the core competencies of the role. Initial interviews with the client will be confirmed and scheduled.

​Conclude
Background checks, offer process & transition
Prior to final selection, comprehensive reference checking is done on behalf of the client. In-depth background checks should be done for the lead candidate(s). This can be done by the client or by us and should be agreed upon in advance.
At offer stage, we will present the offer on behalf of the client and mediate in any compensation negotiations as required.
One the process is completed, we may conduct a client satisfaction survey to refine and improve our approach. We will periodically follow up with both the client and the placed candidate to ensure a smooth transition.
